Dear Parents/Caregivers of Room 11 Students,
Welcome back to another
exciting term, I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable break.
This letter is just to let
you know a little about what will be happening in Term Three.
Our topic this term is ‘Shakespeare
Rocks’ this will link into our production and will look at the life of William
Shakespeare, history, reading and analyzing some of his poetry and plays,
dance, drama, music and may other aspects that link into the curriculum.
Hopefully students made a
start on the tasks set for holiday homework.
The three tasks were:
Speeches-
These will be finished in class and as a continued homework task. They will then
be presented to the class in week 3.

Rocks posters-These will be judged early Term 3 so they can be used for the
promotion of the production.

Term 3.

focus on Speeches, Narrative writing, plays and scripts.
